Broken relationships can hinder our relationship with God. If we have a problem or grievance with someone, we should resolve the problem as soon as possible. How can someone experience God's power of forgiveness, yet not have mercy on a relative, friend or neighbor? Why is forgiveness vital? "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins" (Matthew 6:14). Can you imagine God choosing to not forgive you because of a grudge? (READ MATTHEW 5:23-26, 6:14-15).
