Kingdom Matters Matter Most
Resolutions are temporal at best while redemption is exclusively eternal. This year I resolve to continue to focus on what God has ALREADY done for me (through redemption) versus WHAT I CAN DO for ANYONE (through good works). My selfish ambitions done even in the name of Christ are generally short-lived with no eternal value; my pursuit for Kingdom matters matters greatly for the kingdom!
When we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness then it automatically drives us towards good works because faith without works is dead. Works without faith is damned (respectfully) - if it won't get a person to heaven then the alternative certainly is a reality.
Our pursuit for Kingdom matters matters greatly for the kingdom! 2010's resolution is to do what matters no matter what.
